A maioria das ligas de todo o jogo tem " mata - mata" para ajudar a decidir quem ganha o acesso para a próxima divisão do campeonato. Pode ser um ida e volta ou uma série de jogos após a temporada regular terminada, com o objetivo de determinar quem ganha o acesso junto com os clubes que têm garantida o acesso para a divisão acima.

For Game Worlds Padrão (excluding Game Worlds Personalizados as there is an option within ‘Advanced Rules’ of whether to include them or not) this means that the teams finishing in the play off places will contest the ‘Promotion Play-Offs’.

The semi-finals will be a one off match, with 6th playing 3rd and 5th playing 4th for example, and the home team being the higher placed team. The Final will be played at a neutral stadium and again would be a one off match, with the winner securing promotion to the next tier of the league pyramid.
